Infusing more life into life

Clean Sweep

April 25, 2018

Show up at the right time and you will find many of these pointer brooms in use at  Bourda Market.

My parents spoke about them as though, on their own, they cleaned by magic.

Over the years, I have noticed there’s a way to use this type of broom. Action from the wrist and body are transferred into the broom. The intention to create cleanliness wills the coconut stems to round up even the finest grains of stray dust into the pile for pickup and disposal.
